Red October!

October to me is when the garden can be at it's most beautiful, at no other time of the year can you appreciate such a superb, fiery pallet of colour. This month sees many trees and shrubs on the turn and this can illuminate the darkest of autumn nights, with vibrant foliage and a rich selection of nuts and berries to admire. October is traditionally a busy month in the garden with many tasks to undertake, such as; hedges receiving their final prune of the year, herbaceous plants being divided, greenhouses insulated, spring bulbs planted, and also the addition of many new trees and shrubs to the garden. October is also the perfect time of the year to add some soft fruit into the garden.
