Hot August Colour!

I always think at this time of the year the herbaceous plants are starting to the hit their peak and a fantastic range of colours to be seen. Here at Mayshade we're currently stocking a superb, classical free-flowering range such as; Penstomon, Crocosmia, Echinacea and many more. Definitely not to be missed. A top-tip for all your herbaceous plants is to remove any of those passed over flowers as soon as possible, as this will help to bring on repeat flowering. In the garden the taller herbaceos plans may benefit from some support. For this, something as simple as bamboo canes may do the trick, but there are all types of plant supports available here at the garden centre.
